In recent years a new style of wedding photography has emerged - that of a reportage approach, basing the wedding album on candid photographs. Whilst this may sound appealing, reportage style photography relies on events unfolding correctly with people being at the right place at the right time. We all know that life doesn't always unfold so perfectly and smoothly, which is why AH Photographic believe in the importance of traditional wedding photography as a foundation for professional results. Certain key photographs need to be controlled and set up to gain the right result. Organised group photographs reflect the occasion as being family and friend oriented. Even romantic shots of the couple need to be set up to an extent to ensure decent and flattering results that you will love. We have the experience that the guests and the couple may not have. Without conventional photography creating a basis for the wedding album important aspects of the day may not be photographed to their full potential. Such an approach structures the story-telling process of the album. Yet, we do realise that candid style shots can capture spontaneous moments that might otherwise be lost. Therefore we incorporate reportage photographs when such moments present themselves. Often we find that once the photographer has positioned people for a shot, they spontaneously extend the idea the photographer wants, creating natural results.

A wedding day is constricted to a tight time schedule, and therefore we are quick and efficient, maximising the time for photographs to its full potential. Before the big day, the photographer will meet the couple in their home for an informal chat to discuss the timings of the service and reception, and particular photographs the couple might want. We tailor our various wedding packages to suit your taste. AH Photographic use up to date digital equipment to ensure the highest quality images. Additionally, with digital photography, the amount of shots able to be taken is not constricted, so that you will be able to choose from a vast amount for your album.

AH Photographic are specialists in providing photographs for ladies' festivals. For many years we have provided photography for ladies' nights in the Bournemouth area, Bournemouth being a popular destination for Masonic lodge functions and with lodges travelling from all over the country. We guarantee that we will provide photographs with excellent results that your members' will love, and will want to keep as a memento of the festival.

On the night, AH Photographic will set up studio lights at the hotel, and take photographs of the members before dinner. Whilst you enjoy the evening's festivities, we will process the photographs and return to sell them on the same night.

We do not charge a fee for attending the function and the members' are not obliged to buy their photograph. Our standard price for a 7x5 mounted photograph is £10, or £17 in a silver frame. We take reorders on the night and can post ordered photographs within ten days.

At AH Photographic we understand that your busy lifestyle means that you are unable to spare the time to have your portrait taken during most studio's 9-5 opening hours. Unlike these studios, we are able to set up a professional studio in your own home at a convenient time to you - in the evenings after work, or at weekends. Additionally, by taking the photographs in your own home you will feel more relaxed and at ease with the situation, producing more natural and beautiful photographs.

A setup and sitting fee of £65 is to be paid at the beginning of the studio session. Included in this fee are two 7x5 prints or one 10x8, either in mounts or on Delar display board, ready for mounting in a photo frame.

After the photographs are taken you will view them by laptop monitor. The order can be placed then, or within two weeks of the session.

All reprints and frame orders are accepted only on a payment with order basis. (Cash or cheques only).

Extra prints range between £10 for a 7x5, and £60 for a 16x12. For an additional price, we are able to supply your prints in a quality photo frame.

Our photographers will capture your pet's unique and quirky personality in a photograph you will treasure forever. We can do a photo shoot to your taste - a traditional studio set-up in the comfort of your own home for that timeless and sophisticated portrait, or in your garden to capture the essence of the free spirit that your pet is.

Our pet portrait setup and session fee is £45. Included in this fee are two 7x5 prints or one 10x8, either in mounts or on Delar display board ready for mounting in a frame.
